Requirements:

As a key division of Lebhar-Friedman, Dowden Custom Media provides marketing and communication solutions to health systems, hospitals and related healthcare organizations. Its custom products include, print newsletters, publications, Hospital websites, patient and physician portals and other print and electronic products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a base of clients spanning the hospital, health system and medical clinic markets. Will be responsible for providing strategic consultation to achieve clients' marketing objectives and prove effectiveness of clients' print and online products. Will also be responsible for selling web-based solutions to existing print clients.


  • Identify, develop and promote new customer sales growth through lead and relationship development within the territory

  • Responsible for cold calling prospects and utilizing current professional relationships and referrals to identify and qualify target prospects

  • Expand existing customers within an established base through new account development and strategic initiatives

  • Achieve assigned sales quota and objectives for new and existing business

  • Develop, deliver and participate in proposal preparation and sales presentations to secure new business

  • Utilize the sales support team during the sales cycle

  • Attend tradeshows and other healthcare relevant events
 
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4+ years in account management and/or related marketing strategy experience required.Healthcare marketing experience is preferred.

A broad understanding of print and web-based products and services within the health care industry is necessary.

Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills are necessary for this position

Online and in-person presentations are a key component of this position.
